We are delighted to congratulate Clio Goldstein, a student in our intermediate class, for winning tie-first place in the under 12 Girls Championship hosted by the NSW Junior Chess League.
“The Under 12 Championship ended in a tie – between 8-year-old Clio Goldstein and 10-year-old Suri Daniel. Clio won all her games until the last round, when she was defeated by Dhwani Gupta, who finished third. Suri’s only loss was to Clio.” – NSW Junior Chess League
Clio played 11 games during this intensive tournament. Her determination and perseverance paid off with a well-deserved tie for first place. Keep up that amazing spirit, Clio, this is just the beginning of many more successes to come!
Additionally, we notify all intermediate and advanced students about upcoming state-level tournaments and encourage their participation.
